Your donations will help Alabama Rural Ministry make much-needed repairs to the homes of two Opelika citizens.
Alabama Rural Ministry is a bridge between families who need help, mainly in the way of home repairs and those who desire to serve. As we build servant leaders, we also want to end substandard housing in Alabama!
Our Projects – Helping People
Mrs. Trimble is a long-time resident of Opelika, Alabama, and has lived in the same home for 21 years. She is 87 years old and suffers from mobility issues. Her children live out of state, leaving her little support for day-to-day activities and the maintenance of her home.
Ms. Griffin is currently without A/C or heat. This is our main priority to fix with the summer quickly approaching. Ms. Griffin’s roof also is leaking and starting to cause significant damage to her ceiling. As her roof continues to leak, it is also causing a problem for her back porch as well. ARM plans to install a new roof for Ms. Griffin to stop any more water damage from occurring.
Ms. Griffin is a single, 52-year-old Opelika resident, who has lived in Opelika for 20 years. On top of providing a home for her 10-year-old grandchild, she works for a local daycare. Our hope is to restore their A/C in time for summer and completely repair their roof to stop more water damage from occurring.
